They are one of the North West’s leading Porsche Service specialists.

They offer Porsche owners all aspects service, repair, general maintenance work alongside upgrades, track preparation and restorative works. We are a close-knit and friendly team and they are currently looking to expand our existing team with an Automotive Parts Assistant. This role will be mainly office based, whilst working closely and liaising with the workshop floor. They offer a multitude of perks and benefits such as company events, tailored professional development opportunities and next year will be entering the Porsche Club Championship racing series and all staff will have the opportunity to be involved in this.

Main Duties:

To identify and source parts for jobs within the workshop
To proactively conduct price comparisons between suppliers
To conduct weekly stock takes on common parts kept on the shelf
Outbound phone calls to obtain supplier quotes and placing orders
General IT based tasks such as adding bills and invoices to system
Possibility to learn light mechanics eg. Oil changes/brake changes etc if the candidate is interested.
Skills Required:

Good knowledge of basic vehicle parts
Willingness to develop excellent workshop knowledge
High attention to detail
The ability to communicate effectively to assist in resolving problems quickly and efficiently
Good communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time and prioritise workload
Personal Specification:

Energetic, proactive, calm under pressure, highly personable with a mature personality
Strong team-worker with the ability to thrive in a small, closely-knit, and dedicated team
Excellent organisational skills
Self-motivated and with the ability to work unsupervised on day-to-day duties
Good sense of humour
Experience Required:

Knowledge of basic car parts essential
Prior work in similar field and knowledge of parts systems desirable but not essential
Full Driving Licence
